Area: 90 sq.m
The organisation of Associated Pharmacies of the Emilia-Romagna region (Sfera – Società Farmacie Emilia Romagna Associate) has entrusted Cefla Shopfitting with the restyling of their sales-points following a personalised concept devised together with the architect Simona Dentone.
The Castel San Pietro “Farmacia Comunale dell’Ospedale” occupies a historic building with a high vaulted ceiling featuring stucco ornamentation overlooking the town's main square.
The restructuring work has led to an increase in the area dedicated to sales on the ground floor, thanks to the storeroom being transferred to the upper floor.
An automatic system is used to sort the pharmaceutical items in the storeroom.
An area dedicated to physiotherapy and beauty treatments is also located on the upper floor.
Cefla has worked on the overall renewed image of the pharmacy, with a layout designed to improve the consumer experience, the efficiency of product display and create an improved environment for staff, transforming the approximate area of 90 sq.m available into a welcoming sales area, optimised from the point of view of sales performance.
Clients are served at three different points within the pharmacy, distributed in a rational manner between the various display stands.
The graphics used for signs are efficient and pleasing. Finding the way around is simplified for clients by the customisation of the display structures, such as the main furnishings which are identified by a colour scheme linked to the various categories of product.
Lighting plays a significant role, with solutions provided by Cefla and the new company C-LED.
Backlit shelving highlights the cosmetics and skincare section - a product sector of increasing importance - in a refined manner.
The semicircular counter dedicated to services such as healthcare bookings is one of the most distinguishing features of the format designed for Sfera - it is at the centre of the pharmacy and is bordered by a high-quality slatted wooden structure.
Another notable feature is provided by the trees, which are real and have been treated specifically for closed environments, that support a display and consultation counter near the shop window.
